Mom and dad waited and tried seven long years before they were blessed with this sweet little princess. When mom learned that she was expecting, she could hardly believe the positive test results. After waiting so long for a family, Julianna didn’t make them wait the full forty weeks to make her grand appearance. She came eight weeks early.  Mom and dad were left to do all of their prep work at home while she was in the NICU growing stronger.

When Julianna decided to come, mom felt mostly a stretching-type pain in her hips. Dad wanted mom to call the doctor because she was in a great deal of pain, but it was weeks before Julianna was due. Mom didn’t want to call the doctor unnecessarily. At 9:30 P.M., after an entire day of pain, mom went to the hospital only to learn that she was 7 centimeters dilated! Within an hour Julianna had arrived.

Mom was so worried the first time that she met Julianna because she had been born so early. But when she finally did meet her, she was left in awe. “I didn’t know I could love something so much… words cannot describe it! Pure love,” mom said of her little girl. Dad, who was so in shock of the early due date, fell in love immediately upon meeting Julianna.

The first few days at home with Julianna were overawing. “We were scared of everything. The first bath was so intimidating! But we have a routine now.” Mom and dad most love their little girl’s feet. She loves to move them and have them rubbed.

This little princess’s life is truly an inspiration to men and women everywhere who have tried years to conceive without success. It is a message of hope, blessing, and love. Seven years of trying to start a family had gone by when they were blessed with Julianna, the little girl that they had always wanted. And what a beautiful blessing she is!
