During your shoot, I’ll direct you through the entire process with posing and subtle changes to your angle and expression so you never feel stiff or unsure. This experience is fun, relaxed, and personalized and is designed to bring out the very best of you while creating polished, scroll-stopping images that truly represent who you are and what you do.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I wear for my personal branding session?
Wear something you’re comfortable and confident in as it will show in your photos if you’re not. Bring a few different pressed and wrinkle free outfits with different colors, textures and necklines- tops, jackets and dresses. Leave the puffy sleeves or sleeveless shirts at home. Jewelry is great, but keep it simple so that the focus stays on you. If you wear glasses and you can get a pair of glasses from the optometrist without lenses that’s a great idea otherwise we have to work through dealing with glare. Bring 3-4 outfits then we’ll go through and narrow down to 1-2 outfits depending on how many images you want to order.
How long will it take to get my photos back?
Within 48 hours after your session you will receive an email with a link to your gallery. After you choose the images you want to purchase it will take about 2-3 weeks (in the winter and spring) and 3-4 weeks (in the summer and fall) to get them back fully edited along with the products you order. If you’re just ordering digitals they can be ready within 1-2 weeks.
Is retouching included?
Yes! Professional (natural-looking) retouching is done on each image you purchase.
How long does a shoot last?
For branding portraits it’s about 90 minutes.
Where will my session take place?
Usually branding photos are done on-location, but they can be done at the studio or outside.
What about hair and makeup?
Professional hair and makeup isn’t required, but highly recommended. If you want it done then let me know when scheduling that way I can be sure to get it set up right away with one of my hair and makeup artist. There is an extra charge to add this to your session. This will help you feel and look your best.
What if I need to reschedule?
If you change up to 72 hours ahead of time so there’s no charge, but after that there’s a $100 fee. If you cancel entirely you will lose the session fee retainer you put down to hold your spot on my calendar.
