Jon and Rashella D’Amico own and manage FabForty Maternity, a maternity boutique located at 621 E. LaSalle Ave. in South Bend, IN. They have recently opened Fab4D Ultrasound as well. When asked why she began her businesses Rashella said, “I opened FabForty Maternity because I love being involved in women’s health [and] pregnancy, and it was a great way to engage with women on a personal level. I opened the ultrasound business because it was another need that I felt wasn’t being addressed in our community, and I’m hoping that over time my store can become a maternity hub of sorts where women can find anything and everything related to this time of life.”
Rashella says that her most favorite part of her work is working with women and being able to openly discuss the miracle and magic of birth.
Family is very important to Jon and Rashella. Together they have a blended family of six. Their four children include Sarina – a sophomore at Culver Academy, thirteen-year-old Charles – a soon to be 8th grader, eleven-year-old Ezra, and the soon to arrive Rosie. Family and business keep Rashella rather busy. In her limited spare time she enjoys date nights with Jon, or the occasional weekend getaway. She and Jon like to go on motorcycle rides and find new restaurants to try.
