It is so beautiful to capture the bonding of mother and child during the most rewarding, comforting, natural method of providing! Breast feeding is so rewarding in so many ways but the most captivating to me is that nothing else in the world can replace the comfort and security baby feels with mother in the loving act of breast feeding! 🙂

If I qualify as an entrant, I’d love to have a session with my 17-MONTH-OLD toddler, my last baby boy. I think there’s something to be said for showing how lovely – and BUSY – extended breastfeeding can be. (My son should win an Olympic medal for the gymnastics he can perform while nursing.) In many cultures, children nurse well past 2 years old. Nursing an older baby is very gratifying for the mom and the baby and extends this precious type of bonding past infancy. As a working mother, I find I greatly look forward to my son having “milkies” with me, as it provides a few minutes every so often where he and I must sit down together and fellowship. 🙂
